CREDIT has been a partner in both the INTERREG IVA ‘BioMara’ project and the FP7 funded Marie Curie IAPP ‘Mabfuel’ project, of which more information is on our past research page. We have also had numerous Enterprise Ireland research vouchers and contract research projects over the years.
The research currently of interest at CREDIT follows the marine biomass theme but has expanded to include terrestrial biomass, in response to industry demands. The purchase of an Armfield W8 trial anaerobic digester suitable specifically for liquid or low solids samples lends itself to a number of industrial waste streams in the region.
